Named Witness Steps Forward With Information

Another witness of the crash stepped forward today, this time with a name! Brian Perrulli saw the crash, and overheard some of what Shia and the other driver were saying. According to Perrulli: “Shia was tending to the other people in the car, signing over information, like insurance and stuff and basically, I overheard the guy tell him, ‘You should just get out of here and go,’ and Shia said, ‘Nah man. I gotta deal with this. My license plate, it’s my car. I don’t wanna go, I gotta deal with this.’ The guy Shia hit told him, ‘You should get outta here,’ and ‘I never saw you.’ He said, ‘I never saw you,’ and Shia said, ‘No, man, I gotta stay here and deal with this. It’s my problem,” In the article, Perrulli also says that Shia seemed more shocked than intoxicated.

Was Isabel Lucas The Passenger?

US Magazine has a report that the female passenger in Shia’s car at the time of the accident was his Revenge of the Fallen co-star, Isabel Lucas. This information is from a “source” so we don’t know how accurate it is. In this same article, another “source” says that Shia was doing shots at Troubadour Club before the accident. It’s hard to believe that he was only issued a DUI if he was seen stumbling out of a club just before the accident.

Shia Arrested For DUI

Shia was arrested again, this time for something more serious.  TMZ has the whole story.  Apparently he was driving in Hollywood and turned left in front of another car.  The two collided and both were sent to the hospital, though no serious injuries were sustained.  Authorities believe that Shia was intoxicated at the time, but we’ll see what happens.  He could be convicted of a felony if the other driver was seriously injured, or if he was drunk driving.  I’ll keep you posted.
