Thanks to Shortstacked! for this one… Mattel is apparently planning a comprehensive line of Indiana Jones toys, including a Shia-based action figure. Now you can have your very own Shia to have and to hold!

The Vanity Fair Cover
The cover story about the upcoming Indy movie was extremely light on Shia (two mentions, and one of those was in a picture caption!), but the good people who put together Vanity Fair know the story doesn’t sell the magazine–the cover does! So who gets equal space on this month’s VF cover? None other than our boy Shia, looking good in the retro biker jacket. There’s also an online video about the photoshoot (you can find it here), where they wisely give Shia some facetime.

Not that we needed validation, the Shia’s upcoming Indy release made this list of 55 Must See Movies for 2008.
Poll: Shia Not the Next Indy
According to a poll over at Vizuble, “the public” does not think Shia is going to get the role of Indiana Jones in films subsequent to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull . Wait a minute… they take polls on this kind of thing? Have they nothing better to do with their time? Obviously, the Vizuble people are not devoting enough of their time to watching Disturbia.
