The ‘Eagle Eye’ DVD release is officially set for December 27th. Not in time for Christmas, but maybe for a… New Years present? =]

Entertainer Of The Year
Entertainment Weekly has Shia in their list of “Entertainers of the year 2008.” He’s number 12.
No. 3
Shia is listed in PopSugar’s “Hottest Bachelors in Hollywood” list. Out of the fifteen, Shia is number three. Apparently, only George Clooney and Kanye West are hotter. Not too bad!
Shia Wasn’t Drunk?
Isabel Lucas’ mother released a statement that says just that. It could be wishfull thinking, but maybe there is something to it. She claims her daughter wouldn’t get into the car with a drunk driver, and that according to Isabel it was just a “normal car accident.”
Crash May Not Be Shia’s Fault
According to the Los Angeles Times the crash may have been the fault of the other driver. I guess because of the DUI, everyone had been assuming that Shia was the cause of the accident as well. It’ll be interesting to see what the court decides next month.
Named Witness Steps Forward With Information
Another witness of the crash stepped forward today, this time with a name! Brian Perrulli saw the crash, and overheard some of what Shia and the other driver were saying. According to Perrulli: “Shia was tending to the other people in the car, signing over information, like insurance and stuff and basically, I overheard the guy tell him, ‘You should just get out of here and go,’ and Shia said, ‘Nah man. I gotta deal with this. My license plate, it’s my car. I don’t wanna go, I gotta deal with this.’ The guy Shia hit told him, ‘You should get outta here,’ and ‘I never saw you.’ He said, ‘I never saw you,’ and Shia said, ‘No, man, I gotta stay here and deal with this. It’s my problem,” In the article, Perrulli also says that Shia seemed more shocked than intoxicated.
Was Isabel Lucas The Passenger?
US Magazine has a report that the female passenger in Shia’s car at the time of the accident was his Revenge of the Fallen co-star, Isabel Lucas. This information is from a “source” so we don’t know how accurate it is. In this same article, another “source” says that Shia was doing shots at Troubadour Club before the accident. It’s hard to believe that he was only issued a DUI if he was seen stumbling out of a club just before the accident.
Shia’s Mom Says He’s “Okay”
Yahoo news has a statement from Shia’s mother. She says that he’s okay after the surgery and thanks his concerned fans.
DUI Explaination
I know that a lot of you are curious about what Shia’s misdemeanor charge entails, and what kind of sentences he could be dealt. Mike over at Shia Labeouf Fan is a law student and wrote a post explaining a lot of the legal stuff.
